A home for a new chapter in life
Some houses do not need a new beginning, but a thoughtful evolution. This detached home, built around ten years ago, was adapted to the changing needs of its residents. The kitchen and bathrooms were redesigned, existing materials were carefully refreshed and complemented by a harmonious interior concept. The result is a home that preserves what feels familiar while creating space for new ways of living.
The living and dining area forms the heart of the house. Warm materials, understated colours and selected Italian designer furniture create an inviting atmosphere, while the owners’ personal art collection was deliberately incorporated into the overall concept. Views across Lake Zug accompany everyday life and give the rooms a remarkable sense of space.
Individually designed built-in elements from the Trendline workshop provide both functional and visual accents. In the entrance area, a custom-made bench and fitted wardrobe combine storage space with a clear, refined design. In the living room, walnut panelling with an integrated door creates a calm architectural composition that reflects elegance and precision down to the smallest detail.
The private rooms were planned with the same level of care. The redesigned bathrooms feature high-quality materials and intelligent solutions such as switchable glass, which provides transparency or privacy as required. Refreshed parquet flooring and the redesign of the home office and guest room complete the interior concept and create a harmonious overall impression.
The result is not a complete new beginning, but a considered evolution. A home that respects the existing architecture while meeting today’s expectations of comfort, aesthetics and functionality.
